Recovery Month Proclamations

Find which states, cities, tribal entities, and organizations have issued proclamations, statements, and letters in support of Recovery Month.

By encouraging local government officials to sign proclamations in support of Recovery Month demonstrates to the community a commitment to improving access to treatment programs for mental and/or substance use disorders. Refer to the Recovery Month toolkit for Proclamation examples.

To have your proclamation posted on Recovery Month, please email a copy of the signed proclamation as a high-resolution JPEG file (preferred) or as a scanned PDF file to recoverymonth@samhsa.hhs.gov.
