My name is Christina. I'm an opportunity for recovery. I work at the HOPE center here in New Hampshire where I volunteer and work with recovering addicts like myself. HOPE has given me the chance to lead as an example for those that are still struggling with this disease. One of the things I like most about HOPE is that I get to work doing telephone recovery support services, and I get to connect with these individuals weekly through the phone, giving them support – support that I never got. By doing this I've formed a lot of relationships and bonds. They look forward to my calls. I'm able to give back something that was given to me here. Just the other day someone came in asking for the girl on the other side of the phone. And that's when I knew I'd made a difference.
