The collegiate recovery coalition provides a forum for individuals involved with collegiate recovery programs or efforts to network with other like minded individuals, promote their upcoming events, and learn from others on how to approach the development of their respective program strategically. Representatives from each school report what they did the month before at the start of each meeting. The second half of the meeting is reserved for discussing specific situations that individuals are facing regarding obtaining and growing the three key components for success: students, staff, and space. Special time is reserved at the end of each meeting to help individuals who have important meetings coming up prepare. The coalition has created tool kits and maintains a database of presentations and research to help empower students, staff, and alum develop programs at their respective schools.
