The “Outstanding Health Achievement Award” is a Washington, DC, city-wide initiative that evolved out of an inpatient annual program launched in 2012 at Saint Elizabeths Hospital called the “Outstanding Consumer Award”. The award was initiated to help enhance interactions and communications between mental health services providers and recipients of mental health services. Eligible applicant must provide documentation in treatment planning and preparation, actively working towards treatment plan goals, day activity attendance and participation and utilization of support and coping mechanism. The next open enrollment is September 2017.
