Event Description:
You're invited to our event in honor of National Recovery Month! Every recovery journey has a starting point and for many of our clients, they begin in the justice system. From prisons to the streets, we help a wide variety of individuals work towards the goal of recovery. This month is to celebrate this journey that so many individuals must take in order to return to their normal lives once more. As part of our celebration, we are having a special showing of the award-winning documentary, "The Return." "The Return" examines the unprecedented reform through the eyes of those on the front lines-prisoners suddenly freed, families turned upside down, reentry providers helping navigate complex transitions, and attorneys and judges wrestling with an untested law. This is how their recovery began.
