Support Groups are the heart of the programs offered by NAMI Oklahoma. NAMI Support Groups are unique because they follow a structured model to ensure participants in the group have an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need.
In NAMI Family Support Groups, families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom.
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups are peer-led groups for adults living with a mental health condition. Participants gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others.
IT'S TIME to train more facilitators to successfully reach all Oklahomans who are affected by mental illness and expand NAMI Support Groups.
NAMI Oklahoma is presenting a FREE intensive two-day training weekend for those interested in becoming a Family Support Group Facilitator or Connection Recovery Support Group Facilitator. Lunch is included both days!
