This is a brief model consisting of two individual sessions and three group sessions for consumers who have obtained a first or second OWI offense. The program utilizes motivational enhancement and cognitive behavioral therapies to help the consumer: explore their personal lifestyle and habits, work on strengthening motivation and confidence in their ability to change and develop skills to implement changes.
Presenters: Bridget Lee BS, SAC, IDP-AT, has worked in the behavioral health field for over 15 years with Walworth County DHHS. Main duties are Walworth County drug court providing monitoring and treatment services. Also provides individual and group services for MET/CBT.
Cathy Griffith BS, SAC, IDP-AT, has worked in the substance use disorder field for over 5 years with Walworth County DHHS. Main duties are OWI assessments and monitoring drivers safety plans. Also provides individual and group services for MET/CBT.
