Event Description: 
After the initial and successful debut of the 2nd Annual Heroin and Opioid Art Exhibition sponsored by the Drug Enforcement Administration, Governor's Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse, and the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey, The Center will be welcoming the public to an opening night reception of these special works of art on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 7pm. Entries from Sussex, Morris and Warren County residents along winners from across the state of New Jersey will be displayed and several local artists will speak about their work and personal recovery journeys. The event will be held at The Center, 65 Newton-Sparta Road, Newton, NJ and light refreshments will be provided. We hope that you attend to show support and increase awareness for National Recovery Month, as the 2017 theme is ‘Join the Voices for Recovery: Strengthen Families and Communities.’ Please share this with everyone as we help to promote Recovery Month together in Sussex County.” If you are interested in taking part in this event please contact the Center at 973-383-4787.
