Mindfulness Retreat: An Evening of Stress Relief for Self and Client Care
is for anyone interested in learning or building on mindfulness meditation skills. It provides Certified Peer Specialists, mental health and community support providers, and the general public, with an active yet relaxing evening of mindfulness for reducing stress, anxiety, depression, quieting the mind, and improving sleep and pain. Participants will learn eight mindfulness practices and receive take-home materials to use for self or client care. Our Door Community Wellness Center (www.greendoor.org/our-door) is providing door prizes, light food and beverages. Certificate of attendance provided.
