Details
Event Description:
For the past two years, the Alumni Association of New York State, in collaboration the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services and the New York City Office of Health and Mental Hygiene have held an annual event in support of National Recovery Month.. This year we will look at the ever-hot topic for peers—employment. In addition, we will also look at a topic that we believe is central to good outcomes for people in or seeking Recovery and our country overall—the family. Both issues will be looked at through the lens community integration. In other words: how do persons in or seeking recovery integrate successfully into their communities and live healthy fulfilling lives?
