Voices for Recovery

Lois (05/06/2010)

People can and do recover. I have been in recovery for 29 years.  As an invdividual with a dual diagnosis, I would like to urge others to show acceptance and help lesson the stigma that seems to run in "recovery" communities.  People recover from a number of things.  My spirituality is the cornerstone of my life. Turning things over to my higher power and treating everyone in my life with unconditional high regard is a moment to moment challenge. Recovery is contagious! Catch it.
