NCPIE Educational Materials for Parents to Talk to Teens About Prescription Drugs Now Available

NCPIE, in partnership with the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recently completed the development and distribution of a comprehensive range of educational and outreach messages encouraging parents to talk to their teens about preventing prescription medicine abuse. SAMHSA contractual support enabled NCPIE to produce and distribute the educational materials in both English and Spanish language to television stations, newspapers, and radio stations across the U.S.

The educational resources are available for parents to talk with their children about substance abuse.

To view the PSAs and PDFs of the brochures and other informational materials, or to learn how to order them, visit: http://www.talkaboutrx.org/not_worth_the_risk.jsp.
