Volkow, Ph.D., Director of the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA); and Peter F. Luongo, Ph.D., Director of Maryland Alcohol and Drug Abuse Administration.

The field of addiction treatment is dynamic and ever-changing. New behavioral and pharmacological approaches routinely alter the way we think about and address the treatment of those with substance use disorders. This program will examine recent scientific and methodological advances in addiction treatment and explore how they have improved and diversified addiction treatment services.
