ONDCP’s Americans in Recovery Facebook Page

The Office of National Drug Control Policy has launched a new Facebook page to foster open communication about recovery and highlight the White House’s focus on recovery. The goal of the page is to give people a place to share their recovery stories and communicate with their government. The page is an offshoot of ONDCP Director Kerlikowske’s speech at the Betty Ford Clinic where he asked those in recovery to “come out from the shadows” and talk about their experiences. By giving people a place to share their stories about recovery, ONDCP hopes to help lift the stigma that surrounds recovery and highlight the support for recovery in the Federal Government and across the Nation.
