Help Support National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

(3/18/2013)

Help Support National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
March 20, 2013

SAMHSA supports the National Native American AIDS Prevention Center (NNAAPC) and its fifth annual National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

This day provides the opportunity to encourage Native people to:

  • Learn more about HIV/AIDS and its impact in their community.
  • Call for resources for testing and early detection.
  • Work together to promote increased treatment options and HIV counseling.

NNAAPC encourages you to think about how you can raise awareness in your community, support local efforts, talk to your leaders, and attend an event.
