National Survey on Drug Use and Health to be unveiled in conjunction with 23rd annual National Recovery Month observance


The release of SAMHSA’s 2011 NSDUH survey findings coincides with the 23rd annual National Recovery Month observance, celebrating individuals throughout the country who have achieved long-term recovery from mental and substance use disorders and recognizing the contributions of the dedicated men and women providing treatment and recovery services.  Recovery Month aims to educate the public that behavioral health is essential to overall health, that prevention works, that treatment for substance use and mental health disorders is effective, and that people can and do recover.
