Arkansas Think Tank is a group of community leaders from all over the state from different disciplines of science and technology meeting once a month at the headquarters of WOW Village. We are meeting this month on learning on Brain, Drugs and the latest research by NIMH and NIDA. WOW Village is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to education of the brain, body and the environment under the leadership of Dr. Haroon. Nora Volkow of NIDA has done new and amazing studies of the human brain's fascination and obsession with drugs. The audience will get to learn and enjoy the dopaimine with good food and great company.

Better Community Development, Inc. will host a community wide event to highlight individuals who have reclaimed their lives and are living happy and healthy lives in long-term recovery and also honor the prevention, treatment, and recovery service providers who make recovery possible. Hoover Treatment Center, MID-ARK Substance Abuse Services, JCCSI, City Of Little Rock and Arkansas Department of Health are a few organizations who are partnering to provide on-site services and information.
