Robert Lindsey
President, National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD)

This year, Robert Lindsey was named the President of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD). Prior to that he was Vice President of Longview Associates in White Plains, New York where he was responsible for EAP marketing and new business development. Mr. Lindsey also provided Management Consultation services to Senior Management, Human Resources, Managers/Supervisors as well as direct client services to employees and their family. His work in the addiction treatment field has included positions as the Executive Director of the New York State Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Addictions, Inc. (NYSCADA), the director of Community Relations with the Betty Ford Center as well as a Therapist/Unit Manager with Spofford Hall, a 125 bed, alcohol/drug addiction hospital in Spofford, New Hampshire. Mr. Lindsey also served as the Executive Director/Clinical Director of the Allegany County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Inc. (ACCASA). He is the Conference Coordinator of the upcoming EAP-MAP Conference at Stony Brook University.

Robert has a Masters of Science in Education In Guidance and Personnel Counseling with a specialization in Community Mental Health from St. Bonaventure University, NY. He is a member of the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA),the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and he is a certified Employee Assistant Professional (CEAP).
