Instructions for Using Recovery Month Promotional PowerPoint Presentations

• Create a new folder on your hard drive.
• Click on the link to download the zip file into this new folder. There are multiple files contained within this zip file.
• Select either OPEN or SAVE (SAVE is recommended method). If you select OPEN, save all the unzipped fil in the new folder which you just created. If you select SAVE, continue to follow the instructions below.
• Through your Windows Explorer, locate the zipped file, and double click on it to unzip the files using any unzip utility installed on your computer in the new folder which you just created. You may get a dialogue box listing the files; if so, click on Extract, then select the new folder you created for file placement.

Your presentation is now ready to be viewed. Access the presentation by opening the Microsoft PowerPoint and run it in Slide Show mode. To show the PSA slides, place the mouse cursor over the black box and click once to activate the video files.

Troubleshooting Tips

• All the files must be contained in the same folder. It is best to create a new folder that contains only the files contained in the zip file.
• Make sure that you are running the PowerPoint presentations in Slide Show mode in order to see the videos. To open Slide Show mode, click on Slide Show >>View Show or press the F5 key.
• Do not rename any of the files.
• If you do not have an unzip utility installed on your computer, you can download the free evaluation version of WinZip software to unzip the files from http://www.winzip.com/downwz.htm.
