1st Annual Block Gathering for Substance Abuse Awareness
*Abstract/Description of Event/Activity:
The Addictions Coalition of Delaware, Inc., The City of Wilmington, Churches Take A Corner, The Martin Luther King Jr, Center, New Destiny Fellowship Church and many other faith based and community groups will sponsor the 1st Annual Community Block party to promote awareness of substance abuse and treatment resources.
The Block Gathering will be held at 23rd and Lombard Streets and include music, food, games,speakers, outreach workers and many civic and community leaders joining together to increase our shared knowledge of drug and alcohol abuse, addiction and what communities can do to help those in need.
